In October 2006 JSC "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
JSC "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" (UCF) has passed and long and vivid way since the foundation of a small sewing cartel in 1946 till its maturity today as a highly efficient contemporary sewing company, well-known in Ukraine as well as in Europe. Several structural transformations and changes of form of ownership took place in the process of its development.
The company changed its legal status to the Closed Joint-Stock Company in 1995. It has significantly changed its priorities and development strategy, other activities.
During a short period of time the factory has passed the period of professional staff formation, sewing technologies and equipment improvement. Now it has become a modern company with a developed net of production units, latest technologies, high quality production standards, efficient management and impeccable client service.
Today JSC "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" is a well-known in Europe experienced manufacturer of high-quality fashion clothes. The company is producing women's wear and men's trousers for the top European companies, well-known European trade brands.
At the domestic market "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" is well-known for its trade-mark "PARADA", designed in 1998. The garments with the "PARADA" label find their buyers among those who care about their image, want to be successful, elegant and unique.

The main products of "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" are the following:
  • women's wear: jackets, trousers, shorts, skirts;
  • men's wear: trousers, shorts.
The efficient production system and technological approach allow us to produce the following quantities at the main production unit in Uzhgorod, on a monthly basis:
  • women's jackets - 5000 pcs.
  • women's trousers/skirts - 15000 - 20000 pcs.
  • men's trousers - 40000 pcs.
The main priority of the "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" has always been producing of high quality garments. The company is constantly keeping up with new technologies, making it possible to gain competitive time value while maintaining high quality standards. "UCF" uses the "Julivi CAD" System for marking and grading. The "Julivi" System is compatible with the ASSYST, GERBER, ACCUMARC, INVESTRONICA, LECTRA. Internet and e-mail connections are also available. For cutting there has been introduced the automatic cutting system "Investronica".
"Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" was one of the first in the clothing industry of Ukraine which was accredited by an independent British Agency in ISO Quality Management System ISO 9002:1994. In 2002 the system was updated to a newer standard - ISO 9002:2000.
Geographical location - the nearest position to Western European countries. UCF is placed in Uzhgorod which is the regional center of the Transcarpathian region. Transcarpathia is the far south-western part of Ukraine and is unique for its geopolitical and geographical position. It is an only region of Ukraine bordering upon four West-European countries, new EC members: Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, as well as Romania. Transcarpathia is at the very center of the crossroads between the states of northern-southern and eastern-western Europe.
