Nadiya Deyeva,
Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration


Nadia Deyeva heads the local executive power authority of Dnipropetrovsk region. The later has acquired status of the leading business center of Ukraine recently.

Dnipropetrovsk region governed by Nadiya Deyeva occupies 5 per cent of the territory of Ukraine and produces nearly 17 per cent of all the industrial products of the country. The Region's share in total Ukrainian export makes up about 20 per cent.

Since 1995 to 2002 Nadiya Deyeva headed Regional Revenue Board. Since 2002 to 2005 she used to be Deputy Head of Regional State Administration. Currently she heads this organization. Nadiya Deyeva is a single woman among other Ukrainian regional governors. She has Masters degree on public administration and Doctors degree on economics. She was awarded with the rank of Honoured economist. At the same time she is a deputy of Regional Council.
